Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Analyst based in Chennai. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, and developing insights to enable decision-making. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations.

1. Business Analyst Experience (Insurance): Minimum three years of experience as a dedicated Business Analyst on Insurance projects. Insurance sector experience is strongly preferred. Includes requirements gathering, analysis, functional test case preparation, functional testing and documentation expertise.
2. Communication Skills: Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly and effectively convey information through various channels to diverse audiences. Demonstrates clarity and persuasiveness in both written and spoken interactions.
3. Adaptability & Learning: Energetic and adaptable individual with a strong learning aptitude. Eager to acquire new skills and readily adjust to changing requirements and technologies. Possesses a proactive approach and demonstrates a growth mindset.
4. Teamwork: Collaborative team player who works effectively with colleagues. Contributes positively to a team environment by supporting team members to achieve shared goals. Values collaboration and open communication within the team.
5. MS Excel Proficiency: Possesses strong working knowledge of MS Excel. Capable of data manipulation, formula creation, and generating reports. Demonstrates the ability to efficiently use Excel for data analysis.
6. Educational Qualification: Requires bachelor's degree in computer science, MBA in Finance, or Insurance

Preference will be given to the following candidates 

1. Having Insurance related certifications

2. Proficient in Hindi

3. Willing to travel & stay onsite
