Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will be part of the FP&A (Global MI) sub-value stream, responsible for delivering change projects related to finance management information systems, including TM1 systems that support critical business processes across multiple operating segments and corporate functions. The role involves end-to-end delivery of finance changes, from requirements gathering through to implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs and change frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirement gathering, business analysis, planning, risk identification, and mitigation for finance change projects.
- Manage user training, change documentation, and stakeholder engagement throughout project phases including requirements, design, testing, and implementation.
- Conduct detailed analysis to support user and data requirements, produce process maps, run user workshops, and coordinate training and communications.
- Support Product Owners and Business Architects in evolving team processes, creating reusable collateral, and delivering structured, high-quality change initiatives.
- Design and deliver change interventions such as communications, training, and organizational alignment.
- Plan and track change readiness, adoption, and feedback, identifying and mitigating key risks.
- Manage implementation activities, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimizing deployment risks.
- Collaborate with Change Delivery colleagues and business stakeholders to document MI change requirements comprehensively.
- Own specific change requests and business analysis deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
- Support project initiation and shaping consistent with change framework methodologies.
- Contribute to project documentation including business cases, requirements, plans, and governance structures.
- Manage core test phases including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring test plans and strategies are in place.
- Monitor and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies appropriately.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing evolution and improvement of the MI Change team.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Produce clear documentation and communication of project analysis and requirements.
- Coordinate user requirements gathering and process definition workshops.
- Agree documented user requirements with business and finance systems teams.
- Coordinate testing activities and resolve issues with users and IT.
- Monitor and track issues, risks, and dependencies related to analysis and requirements.
- Manage delivery of test scripts, plans, and strategies, and monitor test phases and metrics.
- Maintain strong relationships with business users, IT, and key finance stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance within the team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Ensure operational effectiveness by maintaining documentation, managing risks, and adhering to compliance and audit requirements.
