Position Overview
The
Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and standardizing financial statements across multiple industries and geographies. The role requires strong accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, ensuring high-quality financial data delivery for investment and credit analysis processes.

Financial Statement Analysis
Review, interpret, and analyze Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, notes, and disclosures for entities across sectors such as Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, Leasing, Investment Funds, and Corporates.

Financial Spreading
Spread financial data into internal systems (IRP) using sector-specific templates and established guidelines with precision and completeness.

Data Entry & Maintenance
Create and maintain company profiles in systems such as iPortal and iDesk, enter investee company information accurately, and ensure data consistency across repositories.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate with global teams including Investment Officers and the Client Center of Excellence (COE) to clarify data requirements and incorporate feedback. Manage communications via email, Microsoft Teams, and other channels for timely deliverables.

Knowledge Management
Document best practices, contribute to team learning materials, and develop subject-matter expertise in financials interpretation and GAAP variations.

Operational Flexibility
Work in rotational shifts and collaborate across global time zones to support ongoing financial analysis and data operations.

Additional Responsibilities
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager related to operations, data quality improvement, or reporting enhancements.
Skills & Competencies

- p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0> Sound knowledge of financial standards, including IFRS, India GAAP, and working familiarity with US GAAP and other emerging market standards.
- p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0> Ability to interpret audit opinions and identify irregularities or red flags noted by external auditors.
- p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0> Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets; experience with financial systems or ERPs preferred.

Qualifications

- p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0> Working knowledge of multiple GAAP frameworks and audit processes.
- p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0> Multilingual capability (preferred): Portuguese, Spanish, French, Chinese, or Arabic.
