  • Partner with engineering teams to support solution design, ensuring alignment with interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, APIs)
  • Analyze and map healthcare data models (e.g., claims, clinical, eligibility, patient data) to FHIR resources
  • Create clear documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and process flows
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ongoing delivery to ensure requirements are well understood and actionable
  • Validate delivered solutions through functional testing, data validation, and stakeholder feedback
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and on-time delivery

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred but not required)
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare technology or health data environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with FHIR (R4/R5), HL7, or healthcare interoperability standards
  • Solid understanding of healthcare data domains such as claims, clinical data, EHR/EMR systems, eligibility, or population health
  • Experience working with APIs, data mapping, and JSON/XML formats
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable user stories
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments with distributed/global teams
  • Ability to operate with a high level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

What We Would Like To See, But Not Required

  • Exposure to US healthcare systems, payer/provider workflows, or value-based care models
