Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • ERP Admin Module Analysis:
  • Analyze the business requirements for the ERP Admin module, focusing on administrative functionalities such as user access management, role-based access control (RBAC), system configurations, and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (business users, IT teams, system administrators) to gather requirements, document them clearly, and translate them into technical and functional specifications for the ERP platform.
  • Support the implementation of new ERP features and functionality related to user management, system configuration, and administration.
  • System Configuration & Customization:
  • Configure and customize the ERP system to meet business needs, particularly around user roles, security settings, workflow automation, and system performance monitoring.
  • Work closely with system administrators and developers to ensure that the system's configuration aligns with both business and IT requirements.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of key modules, ensuring proper integration with other ERP components (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR).
  • User Access & Security Management:
  • Define user roles and permissions in the ERP system, ensuring users have appropriate access based on job responsibilities and security policies.
  • Monitor and audit user access to maintain system security, identify unauthorized access, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any user access issues, ensuring minimal downtime for end users.
  • Process Documentation & Training:
  • Document the business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ERP admin functions, ensuring they are accessible and easy to follow for system users.
  • Provide training sessions for end-users, system administrators, and business stakeholders on ERP admin module functionalities and best practices.
  • Create user manuals and knowledge base articles for ongoing support and system maintenance.
  • System Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute test cases for new ERP admin configurations, customizations, and updates.
  • Perform regression testing on the ERP system after updates or enhancements to ensure no negative impact on business processes.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with business users to ensure that the system meets their needs and expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement & Support:
  • Identify areas of improvement in the ERP Admin module and recommend process changes or system enhancements to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Work with the IT and development teams to address any system bugs, performance issues, or user concerns related to the ERP system.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for issues related to the ERP admin module, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate teams.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (finance, HR, supply chain, IT) to understand business needs and translate them into ERP configurations that support business processes.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on system enhancements, issue resolutions, and upcoming changes to the ERP admin module.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
