Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned
Senior Business Analyst with a deep specialization in the
EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and Payments domain . In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between our clients and technical teams, translating complex business needs into actionable product specifications. You will be responsible for the end-to-end requirement lifecycle, ensuring our payment solutions remain competitive, compliant, and high-performing.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Requirements Analysis
- Requirement Management: Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive internal and customer requirements specifically for EFT projects.
- Technical Documentation: Translate business needs into high-quality User Stories , Functional Specifications (FRS) , Business Requirement Documents (BRD) , and Documents of Understanding (DoU) .
- Process Modeling: Design detailed sequence diagrams and workflows to map out complex payment journeys.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough gap analysis on existing systems and propose innovative solutions to bridge functional voids.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, and Support teams to ensure product alignment and successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal technical teams to facilitate smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve regarding global payment trends and evolving financial regulations.
Domain Expertise
- Issuing: Solid understanding of Debit, Prepaid, and Credit card lifecycles and Switching.
- Acquiring: Experience with ATM, POS, E-commerce, Payment Gateways, and Switching.
- Compliance (Secondary): Familiarity with Visa and Mastercard schemes and regulations is highly preferred.
Skills Qualifications
Technical Knowledge Skills
- Domain Mandatory: Proven experience as a Business Analyst strictly within the Payments/EFT domain .
- Analytical Rigor: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to dissect complex financial logic.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders, from regulators to software engineers.
Education Experience
- Years of Experience: 57 years of relevant professional experience.
- Educational Background: BE (Computer Science), MCA, or MCM.
- Preferred: An MBA is considered a significant advantage.
