Job Overview
As a Business Analyst - Digital Wealth at Emirates NBD, your role is to participate in the implementation and collaborate with main stakeholders to create new products and enhance wealth offering across regions, segments and channels, with a focus on Execution Only, Advisory and Discretionary Management Portfolios, across global and local equities, mutual funds, bonds, structured products, derivatives and other investment classes.
Key Responsibilities
- The role includes accountability in terms of adoption, customer experience, processes and business impact across the various regions, segments and products collaboration with RBWM and group stakeholders.
- The design digital products and experiences end to end in collaboration with the squad engineers, solution architects, designers and the product teams, leading detailed analysis on possible ways of implementation to achieve the desired business goals.
- Coordinate and work closely with IT department and prepare designs for functional specifications.
- Analyze functional requirements and collect all requirements and document processes.
- Establish business processes, analyze existing process and recommend improvements to same.
- Develop project plans for business and ensure appropriate implementation of plans.
- Monitor lifecycle of project and evaluate customer reviews for business process.
- Motivate and manage effectively and efficiently the various squads and teams required to deliver the business outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory, risk, compliance and internal governance policies when executing on the platform growth strategy.
- Assist IT team and technical department to identify all limitations in process.
- Develop training program and associate documents.
- Provide technical support to various migration plan and monitor efficient use of specifications.
- Develop professional relationship with stakeholders, including vendors, partners, customers.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge on various business units.
- Supervise efficient working of staff and provide feedback for employees.
- Support the management of product roadmap, including planning epics, writing user stories, and managing backlog refinement to ensure the product evolves in line with strategic objectives.
- Participate in sprint planning, coordinate sprint reviews, and oversee testing activities to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality deliverables.
- Guide and recommend product design implementation in partnership with solution architect
- Manage & closely coordinate with IT, external vendors (if required), testing resources & other key project stakeholders
- Review the IT design documents & functional specifications to ensure there are no gaps between business requirements & functional specs
- Track and report on key deliverables, risks and prioritization
- Ensure timely, error free & successful delivery of all projects related to the platform.
- Overseeing the implementation of projects/initiatives, minimizing disruptions, and facilitating a smooth launch for internal and external users.
- Adhering to agreed timelines ensures that strategic objectives are achieved
- Design screen mockups by talking to end users, understanding the processes & system integrations involved & making the complete end to end journey fit into a very friendly front-end experience
- Gather user feedback and lead the implementation of improvements, additions and enhancements to the system.

- Monitor, track & analyze usage, turnaround times (TATs), system response times and other similar dimensions of the utilizations of the system.
- Coordinate with IT to resolve critical system issues or application downtime, make necessary escalation if required to ensure minimum customer impact.
- Manage overall architecture of the platform in collaboration with the technology teams

Skills and Experience
- Graduate in Engineering, Computer science, Business, Information system, Economics
- At least 5 years of experience in banking
- 3+ years of experience in building digital experience
- 3+ years of experience within wealth management, digital banking or fintech
- Experience in offshoring activities as Business Analyst or other similar role
- Understanding of investment products, digital flows, risk assessments and customer experience
- International exposure is a plus
- Research skills, problem-solving strengths
- Proficient in tools, mainly Jira, Confluence, Figma and Excel
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent technical, analytical and user experience skills in order to help design the products and experiences end to end
- Ability to communicate insights in an engagement with stakeholders at various levels
- Experience in front-end and back-end integration, ideally within financial services.
- Knowledge of risk management tools and systems, particularly those supporting Lombard lending and derivatives trading.
