Overall, needs to exhibit excellent knowledge of end-to-end lifecycle of payments initiation, processing, clearing and settlement
Excellent knowledge on Credit/Debit cards.
Knowledge of International and Domestic Payments / Schemes
Knowledge of Cross border payment schemes like SEPA / Target 2 / CHAPS / SWIFT messages (MT, pain., pacs. series) is an added advantage
ISO20022 migration experience is an added advantage
Working knowledge of various SWIFT messages associated to the settlements / corporate actions flows used by banks in various markets.

For ISO20022 PM
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale ISO 20022 transformation program across complex financial systems.
Drive planning, execution, and implementation of ISO 20022 standards in alignment with regulatory timelines and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration.
Provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight to ensure on-time and quality delivery of program milestones.
Leverage prior experience in delivering complex payment modernization initiatives and managing large-scale transformation programs.
For Payments BA
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to cross-border payment processing and regulatory compliance.
Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022) to define and validate solutions.
Translate complex payment flows and settlement processes into clear functional specifications and user stories.
Support end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements traceability, testing support, and defect resolution.
Bring strong domain knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, compliance (e.g., AML, sanctions screening), and industry standards (e.g., SWIFT gpi, ISO 20022).
