Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Analyst (Data). The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze data, and translate requirements into actionable solutions. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping business processes, analyzing data, and communicating insights to drive decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is a central aspect of this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data and deriving actionable insights
- Proficiency in Business Analysis and documenting Business Requirements
- Understanding of Business Processes and their optimization
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members
- Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- Familiarity with RPA and BPM tools is an advantage
- Create user stories, requirements documents, SWOT/gap analyses, and interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) to streamline operations and boost efficiency by 30-40%.
- Expertise in the practice of Business Analysis, Flexible approach to working with and different delivery methodologies across the Agile and Waterfall spectrum
- Understanding of the Water Industry, the culture and regulatory accountabilities
- Working within large and small project teams in all stages of project
- Experience working on a complementary data project or programme (eg: Data Platform -Azure, AWS, Integration/Migration, Analytics, Data Cleanse /Quality) is a plus.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachler's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Experience in the IT industry is a plus
