Responsibilities
We are seeking to hire a skilled Business Analyst to help us with the Business Analysis on our current projects. As part of our team, you will play an essential role in the delivery and support process of Socit Gnrale software solutions.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Design the functional content of the IT solution on behalf of the business
- Provide user assistance, production monitoring and support of Modelling data
- Identify, analyze, challenge, and translate user needs for changes and new requirements of the upstream/downstream business users
- Work together with the PO. Contribute on the different project phases (opportunity study, framing, analysis and design, functional validation, change management)
- Elaborate functional and partial technical specifications to the development team
- Identify, write, validate test cases, and perform IT testing
- Anticipate and follow-up changes.
Required
Profile required
- Require 5+ years relevant BA experience
- Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process oriented
- Strong fundamentals in Investment Banking and Capital markets
- Strong Data Analysis skills and well versed with data principles
- Experience in SQL and MS Excel (intermediate to advance level)
- Exposure to Agile methodology with requirements capturing using use cases and feature driven methods, agile ceremonies, etc.
- Experience on identifying and executing test strategies, test plan and functional test cases
- Experience in preparing and conducting functional reviews and training sessions.
- Capability to work with customers and cross location teams to establish and maintain a consistent delivery
- Ability to work closely in a team environment is highly recommended
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to listen, think, analyze user requirements, and implement quick solutions
- Nice to have
- Experience in Credit Risk or Regulatory Projects is a big plus
- Finance/ Banking domain experience: Credit Risk & Modelling
- Worked on at least one project with minimum 12 months period
