Job Description

This role requires deep expertise in Intellect Core Banking. The candidate should have prior experience in core banking transformation and migration projects. It is a techno-functional role that requires strong knowledge of Intellect data models.

The Core Banking Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements related to Core Banking solutions, working closely with banking stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, customization, and support of Core Banking products. The role includes requirement gathering, process analysis, product mapping from legacy to Core Banking, BPD setup, and providing solutions to enhance banking operations.

Requirements

Mandatory skills

  • Should have performed role of Infra Lead in a Core Banking Implementation project handling Environment Management including Installation, Service Management, Patch Deployment and Maintenance
  • Should have the ability to complete Core Banking Environments single handed
  • Should possess end to end knowledge of Core Banking installations - Both On-Premises and Cloud Based Installations
  • Should have handled Patch deployment Product and Custom build patches
  • Should be well versed with Version Control and CI/CD patch deployment
  • Should have working experience/through knowledge on installing DEH environment on Kubernetes
  • Should have performed at least one Production Env Installation (Cluster Model) using Load Balancers
  • Should possess working knowledge of Load Balancer Configuration with respect to Core Banking Installations
  • Ability to debug environment related issues and provide fix for the same
  • Ability to train the clients on Infrastructure Management as part of Handover activities
  • End to End Knowledge and expertise of configure and running EOD and BOD process, identify issues if any and provide timely fixes
  • End to end knowledge of Data Migration Activities with respect to Core Banking versions
  • Should have been involved in Data Mapping exercise and Data Upload activities for Migration
  • Should be able to handle data migration, identify issues and provide fixes
  • Experience in Handling Data Migration Track in any large-scale implementation projects
  • Working Knowledge of Unix Operating Environment
  • Testing Instances and Database integrity
  • Working knowledge of Core Banking Database Objects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis & Gathering:
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their needs related to Core Banking modules.
  • Document functional requirements and prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
  • Solution Design & Configuration:
  • Work with the client to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Configure Core Banking modules to align with the organization's banking processes.
  • Recommend best practices for customization and implementation.
  • Analyse existing Process flows and come up with to be process flows
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Develop test scenarios and test cases to validate system functionality.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address issues raised during the testing phase.
  • Ensure solutions meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Implementation Support:
  • Assist in the implementation and rollout of Core Banking modules.
  • Conduct system walkthroughs and training sessions for end-users.
  • Ensure smooth transition and change management during deployments.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
  • Facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution & Support:
  • Analyse and resolve issues related to Core Banking applications post-implementation.
  • Support production and troubleshoot issues to minimize system downtime.

Your Client Responsibilities

  • Need to work as a team/team lead in one or more Core Banking projects.
  • Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
  • Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead
  • Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
  • Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
  • Should be ready to travel to customers locations on need basis
