Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Project Implementation Team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our clients and our internal technical teams — gathering requirements, translating business needs into actionable specifications, and ensuring smooth, on-time delivery of our solutions. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of accounts and finance processes, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine passion for customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation of Bluecopa's platform — from discovery and configuration through UAT, go-live, and hypercare — for assigned customer accounts.
• Configure and deploy platform modules across AR Collections & Dunning (O2C), AP Invoice Processing & Vendor Matching (P2P), Account Reconciliation & Continuous Close (R2R), and Management Reporting.
• Conduct discovery workshops, gather requirements, and produce BRDs, FSDs, process flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the implementation lifecycle; manage stakeholder expectations, track open items, and escalate blockers proactively.
• Coordinate data ingestion and ERP integration setup with the technical team; execute data validation checks before go-live.
• Support UAT, manage go-live readiness, deliver user training, and ensure a clean handoff to the customer success team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2 to 4 years in a Business Analyst or client-facing implementation role with hands-on delivery ownership — not just documentation support.
• Proven experience implementing at least one of: AR / Collections automation, AP / Invoice processing automation, Account reconciliation or month-end close, or Financial reporting dashboards — for real customers.
• Direct experience working with finance teams (controllers, AR/AP leads, finance ops) as the primary implementation contact.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems — NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar.
• Strong finance domain knowledge: AR aging, dunning, DSO, AP lifecycle, GL reconciliation, financial close, and management reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, JIRA / Confluence, and working knowledge of SQL for data validation.

Good to Have

• Prior experience with a finance automation, ERP, or fintech SaaS platform in a customer-facing implementation role.
• Exposure to data pipeline concepts — understanding how ERP data flows into a warehouse or analytics layer (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience preparing SOWs, implementation methodology documentation, or GTM collateral.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted finance workflows or intelligent automation concepts.

Location & Travel:

• Hiring for: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, and Noida.
• Requirement: Candidates must be open to traveling to client locations across India for project milestones and implementations.
