Job Description

Job Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Analysis

  • Analyze trends in traffic, conversion rates, CAC, AOV, ROAS, repeat purchase, etc. across online and offline channels.
  • Analyze store stock availability, develop improvements in replenishment logic and implement it
  • Identify root causes behind performance fluctuations and present actionable insights during review meetings.
  • Carry out ad hoc deep dives based on business questions-e.g., cohort analysis, funnel drop-offs, customer segmentation, etc.

2. Dashboarding & Reporting

  • Build and maintain performance dashboards across marketing, website, app, and operations using tools like Google Data Studio / Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Automate data pulls and reporting wherever possible using connectors, scripts, or APIs.
  • Ensure regular updates of dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly) and accuracy of all reported metrics.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources data pipelines and ETL processes (Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, Google Analytics, CRM, Marketplaces, etc.) into unified views.

3. Data Automation & Infrastructure

  • Work with internal/external partners to streamline the data Pipeline or integrations between tools and dashboards.
  • Set up automated alerts, anomaly detection, and scheduled reporting to reduce manual effort.
  • Support in cleaning and structuring datasets for better analytical use.

4. Strategic Projects & Initiatives

  • Lead and execute analytics-led initiatives such as:
  • Pricing and discount effectiveness studies
  • Campaign performance benchmarking
  • Customer segmentation or RFM analysis
  • Inventory planning and store replenishment
  • Loyalty program usage and effectiveness
  • Sales projections and monthly/quarterly planning
  • Scalable models for forecasting, category tracking, and customer analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, and finance teams.

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with strong ownership, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • 25 years of experience in analytics, preferably in a D2C / eCommerce / consumer brand environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and at least one dashboarding tool (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Comfort working with large datasets and joining multiple data sources.
  • Familiarity with data from platforms like Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Python or R for automation or analysis.
  • Exposure to data pipeline tools (Zapier, Supermetrics, Airbyte, etc.).
  • Understanding of marketing performance metrics and eCommerce funnels.
  • Experience with CRM / retention analytics (Moengage, Webengage, CleverTap, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Exposure to data warehouse tools (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.) and ETL workflows.
