Financial Market Digital Channels team is driven to provide world class technology to support the bank's Financial Markets business, working specifically on the bank's in-house built pricing, execution, and trade processing platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and gain a detailed level understanding of business needs
  • Coordinating with stakeholders from various project teams in Financial Markets, agree timelines and funding, manage all governance requirements in close collaboration with technical development manager
  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
  • Be involved with workshops with FM Operations etc so that Business Requirements can be documented.
  • Document Actions from the workshops and assist with the tracking of the deliverables.
  • Prepare Gap Analysis, Business Requirements Documents and Project Approval Requests
  • Work closely with SME experts in various areas of the business gaining an understanding of their processes.
  • Document and raise any Risks and Issues to the Product Owners, Business owners and Program Management.
  • Take part in project testing cycles and assist with the preparation of test packs.
  • Create JIRA epics and stories, and ensure business, PO and development team are all on the same page on the requirements.
  • Understand the functionalities of the current systems and process, and come up with requirements for system/process improvements.

Mandatory Skills Description:

  • You must have at least 7+ years of experience with banks or product companies with strong Business Analysis and/or Project Management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Trade Life Cycle.
  • Practical experience in a project role as a Back Office/Post Trade Business Analyst.
  • Experience in confirmation, settlement, fixing, netting, SSI, Swift, etc.
  • Good understanding of one or more of the following asset classes - Rates/Commodities/FX derivatives and BackOffice processing (especially Post Trade).
  • Sound business analysis skills: documenting business requirements and user stories, liaising with business stakeholders, and translating them into specifications for development & testing.
  • Flexibility to wear multiple hats - Scrum master/Business Analyst/ UAT manager based on project demands.
  • Experience handling release cycles for technology delivery in a financial institution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with an excellent standard of English (written and spoken).
  • Experience of working with a globally distributed team spread across different time zones.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

  • Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or PMP
  • Knowledge and previous experience of large-scale financial markets technology platforms
  • Murex, Calypso, Kondor experience
