Job Overview

A Senior Business Analyst at Emirates NBD, will play a critical role in shaping and delivering digital banking experiences across Assisted and Self-Service channels (Branch, Kiosks, CRM, Mobile & Web Assisted Journeys). The role requires translating business needs into well-defined requirements, ensuring seamless customer and staff workflows, and collaborating closely with Product, Design, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk and Vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Solution Design:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate complex business needs into clear functional & non-functional requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, user journey and UI/UX validation.
• Ensure alignment of solution design with regulatory & compliance frameworks

Delivery & Execution

• Work closely with technology squads, architects and vendors to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Lead grooming sessions, prioritization discussions and sprint planning with Product Owner.
• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and change impacts.
• Validate test coverage and support SIT/UAT preparation and defect triaging.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Serve as the key bridge between Business, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk and Vendor teams.
• Manage requirements sign-offs, approvals, and documentation with clarity and traceability.
• Facilitate workshops, clarifications, and solution walkthroughs.

Product & Experience Enhancement

• Continuously evaluate existing journeys to identify improvements in STP, efficiency, UX, cost reduction, and compliance robustness.
• Bring data-driven insights and industry best practices into backlog roadmap planning.
• Support post-launch monitoring and iterative optimization.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of bachelor's degree preferably in business studies or technology.
• Previous working experience in agile team set up.
• In depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies and principles.
• Minimum 6 to10 years of experience in agile delivery & process re-engineering, Business Analysis or Digital Product Delivery within Banking/FinTech.
• Strong understanding of Retail banking products (Accounts, Cards, Loans, FX, Payments), KYC/CDD/AML regulatory processes. Assisted channels (Branch, Agent tools, CRM) and/or ATM/CDM/Kiosk workflows.
• User Experience (UX) Design:

Understanding principles of good UX design.

Knowledge of user journey mapping.

Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools.

• Basic Understanding of Mobile Development:

Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms.

Understanding of mobile app development lifecycle.

Knowledge of APIs and integrations.

• Communication and Collaboration Tools:

Tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams.

Documentation tools like Confluence.

Tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision

• Creating mockups and interactive prototypes.
