About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and translating business objectives into clear functional specifications and actionable solutions.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, documentation, and problem-solving skills to support project delivery and drive continuous business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and operational requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and project management teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirement workshops, and discussions to clarify project scope and expectations.
• Prepare process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
• Support solution design by evaluating business needs and assessing proposed solutions.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Track requirements, manage changes, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential gaps, recommending appropriate solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Familiarity with business process mapping, workflows, and requirement traceability.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of user acceptance testing (UAT), test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Exposure to data analysis, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms.
• Experience working on technology implementation or digital transformation projects.
