Description
We're hiring a
Business Analyst to support digital products in the
healthcare/regulatory compliance space. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, UX, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable delivery plans. The role will primarily support a
Chemical Compliance Application (internal + supplier portals) and would also contribute to customer-facing digital initiatives (web/mobile). Your role would be to support Shape Generation Cloud Service and understand the requirements and drive them towards delivery.
Role expectations
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Product Delivery
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for a regulatory compliance platform managing product, part, and supplier chemical data across internal and supplier portals.
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements (BRDs/FRDs, workflows, process maps, use cases).
- Break down initiatives into epics/user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability from requirements to delivery.
- Define and refine complex business logic including:
- multi-supplier associations and mapping
- multi-regulation compliance rules
- approvals, notifications, dashboards, campaigns
- BOM structure enhancements, validations, and data rules
- Partner with Engineering to define backend data requirements and integration expectations.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners/Managers to shape roadmap scope, prioritise backlog, and evaluate solution options.
- Work with UX to co-design portal/mobile workflows and ensure requirements are experience-led.
- Align across FE/BE/QA/UX/DevOps teams to ensure shared understanding, smooth handoffs, and timely delivery.
- Manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, and ensure UAT readiness.
Testing, UAT & Release Support
- Drive UAT planning and execution with internal users and (when applicable) supplier/pilot users.
- Ensure high-quality releases via clear acceptance criteria, scenario coverage, and defect triage support.
- Prepare release notes and support stakeholders during rollout/change management.
Agile Ways of Working (Scrum Exposure)
- Support Agile delivery by maintaining backlog hygiene and participating in ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retros).
- If needed, act as a strong partner to Scrum Masters (facilitation + delivery discipline), without being a pure Scrum Master role.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software/product delivery (web and/or mobile).
- Strong capability in writing high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation (BRD/FRD).
- Experience modeling workflows, status engines/state machines, and role-based flows.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management: ability to align business, engineering, UX, QA, and compliance stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with data: ability to use SQL for validation and analysis (basic to intermediate).
- Experience with tools: JIRA, Confluence (required).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in healthcare domain and/or regulated environments (compliance, data privacy, audit readiness).
- Experience on compliance-heavy platforms (chemical compliance, supplier portals, governance workflows, approvals).
- Exposure to RBAC design and multi-portal/multi-tenant type scenarios.
- Experience collaborating with UX using Figma.
- Familiarity with mobile app workflows, onboarding/registration, and multi-user experiences.
