About the Role
SIEPL is seeking a forward-thinking Business Analyst to join our team in Chennai. This isn't your traditional BA role. We are looking for a professional who bridges the gap between high-level financial strategy and cutting-edge execution. You will leverage vibecoding—using natural language, intuitive AI agents, and rapid prototyping—to transform how we analyze data and deliver insights.
You will be responsible for identifying business requirements, optimizing workflows, and deploying AI-driven solutions that resonate with the fast-paced nature of investment banking and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into functional specifications and technical roadmaps.
- AI Integration & Vibecoding: Utilize modern AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Replit Agent, Lovable, or Bolt) to build internal prototypes and automate repetitive data tasks through natural language prompts.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing financial workflows and identify opportunities to inject AI-driven efficiencies.
- Data Translation: Act as a bridge between the business units and technical teams, ensuring AI solutions are grounded in financial reality.
- Product Ownership: Manage the lifecycle of internal digital tools, from initial vibe-check prototyping to final deployment and user feedback.
Required Qualifications:
Core Business Analysis (3-5 Years)
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and process mapping.
- Strong understanding of financial services (Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Private Equity preferred).
- Expertise in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
AI & Vibecoding (1-3 Years)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for productivity and code generation.
- Proficiency in Vibecoding methodologies: The ability to build, iterate, and ship functional applications using AI-first IDEs and natural language instructions.
- Understanding of AI orchestration (e.g., basic Prompt Engineering, Agentic workflows).
