Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, especially during presales and project discussions. The role involves gathering client needs, preparing clear documentation, and supporting the team in delivering the right solution.
Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements during presales calls, meetings, and discussions.
- Work with clients to gather and clarify business needs.
- Prepare simple and clear documents such as BRD, SRS, and user stories.
- Convert client requirements into understandable points for the development team.
- Coordinate with developers and project managers to ensure requirements are clear. Perform quality checks of the system, write test cases, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
- Support the team during project execution if any clarification is required.
- Help in preparing basic solution approaches or flow understanding for clients.
- Identify gaps in requirements and ask the right questions to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT company.
- Experience in requirement gathering, especially during presales or client discussions.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile / Scrum).
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to understand both business and basic technical aspects.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and system flow.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Excel, or similar.
- Exposure to working with development teams on IT projects.
