Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst (Techno-Functional) to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a solid technical background to drive complex, high-priority projects to successful completion. This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on involvement across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management :

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Manage scope, prioritize requirements, and handle change requests effectively.

Technical & Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
  • Understand system architecture, integrations, APIs, and data flows to support solution design.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and provide inputs on feasibility, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
  • Communicate project goals, progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and drive mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical deliverables.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by guiding cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in business analysis and delivery.
  • Apply project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall as appropriate.
  • Continuously improve processes, documentation standards, and delivery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Technical Skills

  • Experience working with technical teams on software development projects.
  • Understanding of system architecture, APIs, integrations, and databases.
  • Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, SRS, user stories, use cases, and wireframes.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, and basic SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Balsamiq, Figma, or similar.

Methodologies & Tools

  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint ceremonies.
  • Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and align diverse teams toward common goals.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or Scrum certifications are a plus.
