Project Role Description : Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information.

Minimum 7.5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

Strong UK Payments Grounding

Hands-on experience across domestic schemes

BACS experience is essential SWIFT-only profiles are not sufficient in isolation

Balanced Payments Landscape Coverage

SWIFT / international payments

BACS and UK domestic processing

Faster Payments

Current Account Switching and related schemes

Migration and Transformation Experience

Mapping current vs target flows

Supporting integration and transition activities

Working alongside architecture and engineering teams

Bridging Business and Technical Domains

Interpreting complex payment flows

Supporting documentation of actual vs intended system behaviour

Identifying gaps, inconsistencies and risks

Stakeholder Engagement

Working with SMEs across payments, operations and technology

Supporting alignment in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

As a Business Analyst, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve analyzing an organization and designing its processes and systems. Your typical day will include assessing the current business model and its integration with technology, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state or business solution. You will conduct research, gather information, and synthesize data to provide insights that drive decision-making and improve organizational efficiency. Collaboration with various teams will be essential as you work to align business objectives with technological capabilities, ensuring that solutions are both effective and sustainable.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME.
  • Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation that outlines business processes and requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.
  • Good To Have Skills: Experience with Payments Fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in creating detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
  • This position is based at our Chennai office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
