Role Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Business Analysts to work as an integrated member of a product team on a large-scale platform replatforming programme.

This role is not about producing requirements in isolation. You will act as the analytical partner to Product Managers, helping translate product vision and migration strategy into clear, sequenced, delivery-ready work for engineering teams. You will play a critical role in managing complexity, reducing risk, and maintaining delivery momentum as capabilities move from a legacy platform to a new destination platform.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys problem-solving at both system and feature level, and understands how good analysis enables strong product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Managers to break down roadmap themes into epics, features, and well-structured user stories
  • Analyse current-state platform behaviour, dependencies, and constraints to support safe and incremental migration
  • Help define future-state behaviour on the destination platform, identifying gaps, risks, and trade-offs
  • Support migration sequencing by clarifying what must move, what can change, and what can be retired
  • Create lightweight, decision-oriented artefacts (user stories, flows, models) that help teams move quickly and confidently
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to refine and maintain a delivery-ready backlog
  • Identify impacts, dependencies, and risks across systems, teams, and releases
  • Collaborate with delivery teams day-to-day to clarify scope, reduce ambiguity, and unblock progress
  • Engage stakeholders to validate understanding, manage change, and maintain alignment throughout delivery

How You'll Work

  • Embedded within a cross-functional product team
  • Working in lockstep with Product Managers rather than operating as a hand-off function
  • Balancing detail with pragmatism, prioritising progress and outcomes over documentation volume
  • Supporting both discovery and delivery, with a strong bias toward getting work shipped safely

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital, product-led, or platform environments
  • Experience working on platform migrations, replatforming, or major system change programmes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex systems and interactions
  • Solid experience working in Agile delivery teams
  • Confidence collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with purpose

Nice to have

  • Experience in consumer-scale or transaction-heavy platforms
  • Exposure to regulated or high-availability environments
  • Background in large, multi-team transformation programmes
  • Experience in betting, gaming, or iGaming environments (e.g. sports betting, virtual sports, lotteries, gaming platforms)
