Business Administration (MBA) — AI Data Trainer
About The Role
What if your MBA — your hard-won command of corporate finance, competitive strategy, and business operations — could directly shape how AI advises the next generation of executives and business leaders
We're looking for MBA-level professionals to train and evaluate advanced AI models on the kinds of complex, high-stakes business problems that define real decision-making at the top. You'll stress-test AI reasoning, author gold-standard solutions, and help ensure that AI can hold its own in the boardroom.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required — just deep business expertise and a sharp analytical mind.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design complex business challenges — craft advanced case studies and quantitative problems spanning DCF valuation, market entry strategy, cap table modeling, supply chain optimization, and organizational behavior
- Author ground-truth solutions — build rigorous, step-by-step responses incorporating financial statements, strategic frameworks (4Ps, 5Cs, Porter's Five Forces), and executive-quality rationales that serve as the gold standard for AI training
- Audit AI-generated business content — evaluate business plans, financial forecasts, and case study analyses for logical consistency, mathematical accuracy, and adherence to professional standards
- Refine AI reasoning — identify and document reasoning failures such as ignoring sunk costs, miscalculating WACC, or misapplying macroeconomic assumptions, and provide structured, actionable feedback
- Push the limits of AI business knowledge — challenge models on edge cases and nuanced scenarios that separate surface-level understanding from true business acumen
Who You Are
- Holder of an MBA from an accredited institution
- Strong foundational knowledge across at least two core business domains: Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Strategic Management
- Skilled at synthesizing complex data into clear, executive-quality analysis and recommendations
- Highly detail-oriented — you catch errors in financial formulas, flawed assumptions, and weak strategic logic instinctively
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy
- Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assurance workflows
- Proficiency in data-driven decision tools — Excel modeling, Tableau, SQL, or similar
- Prior exposure to LLMs or AI evaluation platforms as an end user
