Job Title: Building Performance Analyst Intern (Architecture)
Location: New Delhi, India (Onsite)
Duration: 3 to 6 Months
Role Overview
We are looking for a Building Performance Analyst Intern (Architecture) who is interested in sustainable architecture and data-driven design. This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates eager to explore net-zero buildings, environmental simulations, and high-performance design strategies while working in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing basic 3D energy models (BIM to energy model workflows)
- Support climate and environmental analysis using tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, and Ladybug
- Work with senior team members on simulations, research, and green certification documentation
- Help convert technical data into visual presentations and reports
- Participate in design discussions and sustainability-focused research tasks
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Arch / M.Arch
Technical Skills (Basic Knowledge Required)
- Familiarity with Rhino / Grasshopper (preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of 2D CAD (AutoCAD or similar)
- Exposure to tools like Ladybug (Grasshopper), DesignBuilder, ClimateStudio, or BIM tools is a plus
Data & Analytical Skills
- Interest in learning data analysis tools such as Python, Excel, or Tableau
- Ability to understand and interpret basic performance data
Core Competencies
- Strong interest in sustainable and high-performance building design
- Basic understanding of building construction and architectural principles
- Willingness to learn, research, and work in a collaborative environment
