Role Description

The Building Management System Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune District. The operator will monitor, operate, and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure reliable performance of electrical, HVAC, fire, security, and other integrated building services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing system alarms, performing routine inspections, coordinating with maintenance teams, and documenting system performance and incident reports. The role involves supporting preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards, and collaborating with facility management staff and vendors to resolve issues promptly. The operator will also contribute to improving system efficiency, assisting with upgrades, and maintaining accurate records within BMS and facility management tools.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Building Management and Building Maintenance to oversee day-to-day operations and upkeep of building systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Management Systems and Facility Management (FM) to coordinate services, manage workflows, and support compliance and safety standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in Building Management Systems to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot BMS platforms and integrated controls.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field is preferred.
• Experience in BMS operations, facility management, or critical infrastructure (e.g., data centers, IT parks, commercial buildings) is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, SOPs, and equipment manuals, with strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and client representatives.
• Willingness to work in shifts, respond to emergencies, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
