Roles & Responsibilities
The Financial Technical role's overarching objective of IT Financial services is to successfully support and deliver quality and cost-effective support to the bank. This means, supporting the implementation of the organization's financial reporting solutions effectively and efficiently.
Financial Technical Support Will Have To Achieve Below
- Support BAU For Budgeting /Forecasting Department
- Support Projects implementation
- Support Business user in their day-to-day tasks and activities
- Analyze User requirements and translate them into technical answer.
- Ensuring high availability of Tagetik Application
- Conduct financial reconciliation.
- Conduct cost/benefit and other types of analyses.
- Ensure the proper execution of workflow for budget recommendations for approval or rejection of funding requests.
- Configure workflow for final consolidated budget.
- Adhering to organization's legal budget.
- Understanding of budgeting and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding Net Interest Margin Calcualtion.
- Support installation application of Tagetik for Budget/Forecast
- Support Infrastructure team to optimize hardware configured for Budget/Forecast
- Support System Integration Testing (issue analysis and resolution)
- Support regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (issue analysis and resolution)
- Ensure effective client engagement and management.
Requirements
Education qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, MBA or related field.
Experience And Knowledge (Essential)
- At least 3 years experience in implementing/supporting Banking Solutions in the capacity of a technical consultant.
- Knowledge of Finance solutions Tagetik for Budget/Forecast.
- Experience in Budget/Forecast Reporting.
- Experience in Workflows
- Good Understanding of Top -Down budgeting Bottom Up Budgeting.
- Strong programming skills (PL/SQL, SQL, Java/any other programming Language, Power BI)
- Strong RDBMS experience (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPivot
- Good Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) following Agile Methodologies.
- Experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (DW/BI) project implementations
- Good understanding of On-line Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems.
- Good Understanding of BI Microsoft Stack.
- Good understanding of BI and Reporting Systems
- Good understanding of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) Development
- Demonstrated experience in customer facing roles.
- Fluency in English, written and oral.
