About the Role
We are looking for a Budget Analyst (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on financial planning, budgeting workflows, forecasting systems, and business performance analysis.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to budget allocation, expense forecasting, financial modeling, operational planning, and cost optimization, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world financial analysis and budgeting challenges.
Your expertise will help improve AI systems for financial intelligence, strategic planning, and business decision support.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for financial accuracy, forecasting quality, logical consistency, and business relevance
- Identify calculation errors, reporting inconsistencies, unrealistic assumptions, or cost optimization gaps in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving budgeting, variance analysis, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on financial planning and operational analysis
Requirements
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost analysis principles
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, financial modeling, and analytical tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems, BI tools, or financial planning software is preferred
- Strong analytical thinking, numerical reasoning, and attention to detail
- Ability to critically evaluate financial workflows and AI-generated analytical outputs
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
