We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Budget Analyst to join our team on a freelance basis. If you enjoy working with financial data, forecasting budgets, analyzing spending trends, and supporting strategic decision-making, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor organizational spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track budget performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support financial planning.
• Assist in preparing financial models, projections, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in financial documentation and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of budgeting principles, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret financial data and present insights clearly.
• Experience working independently in a remote environment is preferred.
