Position Summary

We are seeking a quality assurance engineer who will be responsible for designing and executing testing across master data management, data quality, data governance, and broader data-management capabilities.

The role will support GES Data Management (GDM), a centralized product that masters data for a suite of Global Mobility applications subscribing to and publishing information. The role requires working with technical teams, data stewards, product owners, and business stakeholders—and understand that testing master data is not just checking whether a system works; it is validating whether the data can be trusted.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases for MDM and data-management capabilities.
Test end-to-end master data processes, including Data ingestion and onboarding, Standardization and validation, Matching and Deduplication, Survivorship and golden-record creation, Hierarchies and relationships, Approvals and Stewardship Workflows, Publishing and downstream consumption
Validate data quality rules for completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, validity, and timeliness.
Test data profiling results, quality scorecards, thresholds, exceptions, and remediation workflows.
Test Informatica MDM configurations, including match rules, merge logic, trust scores, survivorship rules, crosswalks, and source-system precedence.
Test Informatica IDQ mappings, rules, profiles, dashboards, workflows, and exception handling.
Test CDGC capabilities, including catalog ingestion, metadata discovery, lineage, classifications, glossary associations, and search functionality.
Validate integrations between GDM and subscribing or publishing applications using APIs, files, messaging, and other interfaces.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
Automate repeatable data validation and regression tests where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, data testing, ETL testing, or data engineering.
Strong understanding of - Master data management concepts, Data quality dimensions and controls, Data governance and stewardship, Data modeling and metadata, Data lineage and traceability, ETL, ELT, APIs, and integration patterns
Experience developing SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis.
Demonstrated ability to create structured test strategies, test cases, traceability matrices, and test reports.
Experience with defect-management and test-management tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to communicate data defects and business impacts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Shift Timings: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience testing of Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica CDGC, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud
Experience testing match, merge, survivorship, hierarchy, and golden-record functionality.
Experience validating business rules, data-quality scorecards, profiling outputs, and exception workflows.
Experience testing metadata harvesting, business glossaries, lineage, classifications, and catalog search.
Experience with API testing tools and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with cloud data platforms, relational databases, data warehouses, or event-driven integrations.
Knowledge of sensitive personal data, privacy controls, access management, and auditability.
Experience in Global Mobility, HR, tax, immigration, payroll, finance, or professional services data.
Familiarity with Agile product delivery, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Relevant Informatica, data-management, or software-testing certification.
