Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BSc Nurse role based in Kochi, Kerala. The nurse will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families on treatment plans, and promoting infection prevention and safety protocols. The nurse will also participate in patient assessments, implement care plans, support emergency and critical care situations as needed, and adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Recognized BSc Nursing degree and valid nursing registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and basic life support.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control practices, and documentation standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, manage time effectively, and respond calmly in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to ethical patient care, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
- Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings in Kerala or similar environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer literacy is beneficial.
