Job Description

The Broadsign Technical Consultant provides expert technical guidance and implementation support for Broadsign's suite of digital signage and programmatic products. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal engineering teams, and account managers to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Broadsign solutions across diverse environments.

This role merges technical expertise, client-facing consulting, and DOOH industry knowledge, helping customers maximize the value of their digital signage networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Implementation & Configuration

  • Install, configure, and deploy Broadsign digital signage software (e.g., Broadsign Control, Broadsign Reach, Broadsign Publish).
  • Configure player devices, network parameters, content distribution workflows, scheduling rules, and integrations.
  • Support APIbased customization and system extensions per customer needs.

Technical Consulting & Client Support

  • Analyze client infrastructure (hardware, network, CMS architecture) and recommend Broadsignaligned best practices.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for live networks.
  • Collaborate with Broadsign's Customer Success, Support, and Engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.

Integration & API Advisory

  • Advise clients on integrating Broadsign with thirdparty systems (e.g., programmatic DSP/SSP platforms, data feeds, audience measurement).
  • Guide clients using Broadsign's APIs for automation, dynamic content, and custom workflows.
  • Validate network configuration and API usage per Broadsign's performance and security standards.

Testing, Optimization & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct system testing, performance validation, player diagnostics, and content flow verification.
  • Optimize screen playback reliability, scheduling accuracy, and network efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Broadsign's hardware certification and content quality requirements.

Documentation & Training

  • Create and maintain installation guides, configuration manuals, troubleshooting documents, and architectural diagrams.
  • Deliver enduser and technical training for clients, partners, and internal teams.

Collaboration & Project Execution

  • Work with sales engineers during presales scoping (technical validation, feasibility studies, solution fit).
  • Participate in onboarding, golive support, and postdeployment reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies.

PROFILE

  • 37 years in technical consulting, SaaS implementation, digital signage, AV/IT integration, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting enterprise, media, or advertising technology platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital signage systems, CMS platforms, media players, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Linux/Windows, media codecs, display hardware, and network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and web technologies is a plus.
  • 37 years in technical consulting, SaaS implementation, digital signage, AV/IT integration, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting enterprise, media, or advertising technology platforms preferred.
