Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Oracle BRM Developer / Migration Lead with strong hands-on expertise in BRM data migration, development, and telecom billing systems. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of BRM architecture, migration strategies, and data validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute BRM data migration activities
- Work with all BRM Data Migration components
- Hands-on experience with BRM 12 schema
- Perform data migration using BRM-CMT tools
- Handle legacy data mapping and data model transformation
- Implement data conversion techniques, including encrypted data handling
- Manage data loading and integration with Northbound/Southbound systems
- Develop migration strategy and implementation plans
- Validate migration accuracy through sanity checks and development expertise
- Perform post-migration analysis (Events, Invoices, Open Items, Bills, Dunning)
- Develop data reconciliation scripts
- Execute parallel billing runs and dry runs
- Conduct performance testing to optimize downtime
- Create cutover plans and runbooks
- Generate migration reports with detailed analysis
- Build reports using SQL queries and bursting techniques
Mandatory Skills- Strong experience in Oracle BRM Development (Hands-on)
- Expertise in:
- Java technologies
- C/C++
- Oracle 12c / 19c
- PL/SQL
- PCM Java
- BRM Web Services
- Scripting (Perl/Python)
- Experience with BRM Migration tools (CMT, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data migration execution & validation
- Data integrity testing
- Migration strategy documentation
- Experience in Kubernetes
- Ability to develop and execute cutover strategies
- Willingness to travel when required
Desirable Skills- Telecom domain knowledge:
- Prepaid / Postpaid Billing
- Broadband / Wireless / Voice / SMS / Data services
- Understanding of BSS/OSS systems (especially Billing)
- Experience in cloud or on-premise BRM deployments
- Familiarity with:
- Agile / Scrum / Waterfall / DevOps models
- Cloud tools and frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to conduct client workshops and presentations
