Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to join our Enterprise Applications team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP TM solutions to streamline transportation planning, freight management, logistics execution, and supply chain operations.
The role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and experience working on end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and support engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP TM Implementation & Support :
- Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.
- Configure SAP TM functionalities including :
- Transportation Planning
- Freight Order Management
- Freight Booking
- Carrier Selection
- Charge Calculation
- Freight Settlement
- Transportation Execution
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions.
- Business Process Optimization :
- Design scalable transportation management solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Improve transportation planning efficiency and freight cost optimization.
- Support logistics execution and shipment tracking processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities across supply chain operations.
- Integration & Testing :
- Collaborate with technical teams for SAP TM integrations.
- Integrate SAP TM with :
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP EWM
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP GTS
- External Carrier Systems
- Prepare functional specifications and test scenarios.
- Support SIT, UAT, and go-live activities.
- Stakeholder Management :
- Work closely with business users, supply chain teams, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Provide functional support and issue resolution.
Required Skills
- 8 to 10 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 to 3 end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in SAP TM on SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of transportation planning and freight management processes.
- Experience with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP TM Certification preferred.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries.
- Exposure to global transportation and freight operations
