Role Description

• We are seeking a highly senior and impact-driven leader to serve as Bridge Head for AI & Senior Engineering, driving the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced engineering capabilities into the broader business transformation agenda.
• Operating at the intersection of business strategy, operational transformation, and technology enablement, this role acts as a translator, orchestrator, and value driver-ensuring business priorities are effectively translated into scalable AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
• The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in accelerating AI adoption, scaling value, and shaping the future operating model for AI within the organization.

Your key responsibilities

Bridge Business & Engineering

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams (AI, data, engineering)
• Translate business requirements into implementable, scalable solutions
• Challenge both business and technical stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, platforms, and standards
• Translate business objectives into a structured portfolio of AI-enabled transformation initiatives

Value Realisation & Delivery

• Identify, prioritise, and drive high-impact AI, data, and advanced analytics use cases aligned to business strategy
• Track delivery of measurable outcomes (efficiency, revenue, risk reduction, CX improvements)
• Ensure initiatives scale from pilot to production and sustained adoption
• Identify new opportunities to leverage AI for competitive advantage

Operating Model & Governance

• Define and evolve the target operating model for AI within the business
• Establish governance, prioritisation frameworks, and decision-making structures
• Ensure strong collaboration with technology and data organisations while maintaining business ownership of value

Your skills and experience

• Proven track record of leading AI / data / advanced analytics-driven transformation programmes
• Strong ability to connect business strategy to execution and measurable value outcomes
• Deep understanding of AI, data, and modern engineering ecosystems
• Experience scaling AI solutions from proof-of-concept to enterprise deployment
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at CIO / senior leadership level
• Ability to operate across business and technology domains with credibility in both
• Experience defining operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business impact
