Job Title: Branding & Marketing Lead

Location: Gurgaon (On-site; includes occasional travel to factory)

Experience: 3+ years in D2C Branding/Marketing

The Mission

We are launching a disruptive, premium Indian sneaker brand. We aren't just selling shoes; we are building a narrative-driven community. Leveraging 20 years of manufacturing excellence for global icons like Michael Kors, we are now turning our craftsmanship inward to create India's next great footwear legacy.

We are looking for a Branding & Marketing Leada brand architect who lives and breathes sneaker culture. We want a builder with the fire to go from 0 to 1, bridging the gap between mass-market footwear and global luxury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Architecture & Storytelling: Translate our high-end manufacturing heritage into a compelling D2C brand story.
  • Community Building: Create organic noise on platforms like Reddit and Instagram. Your success is measured by brand sentiment and community outreach, not just transactional clicks.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Own the roadmap to reach our first milestone of 1 Crore monthly revenue. You will lead the launch with total ownership and zero hand-holding.
  • Content & Social Media: Manage end-to-end storytelling, including content strategy, podcasting, and influencer-style engagement to build authority.
  • Performance & Ad Ops: Oversee performance marketing with a focus on AI-driven tools, ensuring efficient spend while maintaining a premium aesthetic.
  • Team Leadership: Act as the first marketing hire, setting the culture and eventually scaling the department as the brand grows.

What We're Looking For

  • The Sneaker head DNA (Preferred, Not Mandatory): Strong familiarity with sneaker culture, including an understanding of what makes certain releases culturally significant or grail-worthy, with the ability to appreciate design, storytelling, and community-driven value.
  • D2C Pedigree: Proven track record in an early-stage Indian D2C startup. You've ideally seen a brand scale from 1 to 10.
  • Start-Up Mindset: Proven experience in high-growth Indian startups, demonstrating ownership, rapid execution, and the ability to create and scale solutions from the ground up.
  • Premium Aesthetic: You understand the visual and verbal language required to sell to a sophisticated, design-conscious demographic.
  • Technical Savvy: Comfortable using AI-driven marketing tools to optimize operations & marketing strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
