Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Brand Advertising Sales Manager to accelerate branding revenue growth in India leveraging Transsion's proprietary smart device ecosystem, including HiOS (Android-based OS) and Palmstore.
This role will focus on brand-led advertising partnerships across FMCG, fintech, e-commerce, telecom, consumer electronics, and education sectors, building sustainable long-term brand relationships beyond pure performance-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Branding Revenue Development
- Drive branding ad monetization across HiOS, Palmstore, smart notifications, content feeds, and other on-device placements
- Identify and close brand budget allocations (upper/mid funnel campaigns)
- Develop bundled brand packages combining:
- Splash / lockscreen
- Native feeds
- Video placements
- App discovery
2. Strategic Client & Agency Engagement
- Build direct relationships with:
- Top Indian advertisers
- Media buying agencies
- Brand strategy teams
- Act as the primary commercial interface for branding discussions
- Conduct consultative selling and pitch customized ecosystem solutions
- Negotiate annual/quarterly branding retainers
3. Solution Structuring & Campaign Execution
- Translate brand objectives (awareness, consideration, recall) into measurable OEM media frameworks
- Coordinate with internal:
- Ad operations
- Product
- Data teams
- Oversee campaign rollout, delivery tracking, brand lift metrics (where applicable)
- Ensure premium execution quality aligned with brand expectations
4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Identify white-space branding opportunities within Tier 2/3 cities where Transsion has strong device penetration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related field
- 58+ years of experience in: Branding, advertising sales, Media sales
- OEM / mobile ecosystem monetization
- Strong agency network in India
- Experience selling branding campaigns (CPM / tenancy / sponsorship models)
- Proven revenue track record in competitive media environments
- Strong commercial negotiation and consultative selling capability
- CRM and pipeline management proficiency
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, target-driven environments
