We're automating the repetitive, time-consuming parts of talent management: contract drafting, payment tracking, deal negotiations, and admin work. This lets creators and their managers focus on strategy, relationships, and growth.

The Role

You'll be employee #5-8 on the founding team, owning brand and agency partnerships end-to-end. Your mission: get brands and agencies onboard as paying customers and manage those relationships to drive revenue, similar to BD roles in influencer marketing agencies.

Think of this as a BD/sales role at an influencer marketing agency, but instead of selling campaigns, you're selling Fluencity's platform to brands and agencies who want to streamline their creator collaborations.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Lead generation: Identify and reach out to brands and agencies that work with multiple creators.
  • Sales & deal closure: Pitch Fluencity, run demos, negotiate contracts, close deals.
  • Account management: Be the primary point of contact for brand/agency clients; ensure they're getting value.
  • Relationship building: Attend industry events, network with brand marketers and agency owners, build partnerships.
  • Revenue targets: Own monthly/quarterly sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Client servicing: Proactive check-ins with existing customers to ensure retention and upsells.
  • Product feedback: Channel brand/agency insights directly to founders to improve the platform.

Who Should Apply

This role is only for candidates with brand partnerships, business development, or sales experience in the influencer marketing/creator economy space, not generic digital marketing or social media roles.

Required:

  • 2-3 years in brand partnerships, BD, or sales (preferably at an influencer marketing agency, creator platform, or related space).
  • Experience closing deals with brands or agencies (5L+ deal sizes preferred).
  • Existing network of brand marketers, CMOs, or agency owners in the influencer/creator space.
  • Deep understanding of how brands work with influencers: campaigns, contracts, pricing, ROI metrics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Problem-solver who can handle objections and close deals under pressure.
  • Comfortable with a performance-driven commission structure.

Bonus:

  • Network in India's D2C, FMCG, or consumer brand ecosystem.
  • Experience selling SaaS or tech platforms to brands/agencies.
  • Understanding of creator monetization and influencer marketing economics.
  • Previous experience in early-stage startups.

What You'll Earn

  • 30-35K base salary + performance commission (5%-20% on closed deals).
  • Total OTE: 5.5-6 LPA.
  • 0.1-0.25% ESOPs.

Performance-driven role with uncapped commission on brand/agency deals closed. Base salary + commission structure details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
