Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Brand Onboarding & Account Executive to manage brand onboarding, post-sales coordination, and marketplace account growth. The role involves working closely with brands to ensure smooth onboarding, driving initial sales, and managing ongoing account performance across marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Onboarding & Activation:
- Manage the complete onboarding lifecycle from brand handover to successful go-live on the platform.
- Guide brands through platform policies, documentation, and operational requirements.
- Review and validate brand credentials, KYC documents, and product details to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to prioritize onboarding based on revenue potential and business goals.
2. Account Growth & Revenue Enablement:
- Act as a strategic partner to newly onboarded brands to drive early-stage sales performance and revenue growth.
- Support brands in optimizing product listings, pricing, catalog quality, and visibility to improve conversions.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with Category and Sales teams.
- Track initial sales performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve GMV and engagement.
3. Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely collection and maintenance of all legal, regulatory, and compliance-related documents.
- Share onboarding kits, SOPs, and best practices to help brands navigate the platform efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of onboarding progress, communications, and documentation.
4. Stakeholder Management & Issue Resolution:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brands during onboarding and early lifecycle stages.
- Resolve onboarding, operational, and technical issues in coordination with internal teams.
- Work closely with Sales, Category, and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding and activation experience.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Operations to ensure accurate product uploads, inventory readiness, and catalog quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline onboarding processes and reduce turnaround time.
- Share feedback from brands to improve platform experience and internal workflows.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track onboarding metrics such as TAT, activation rate, and time to first sale.
- Monitor brand performance post go-live and identify bottlenecks impacting growth.
- Prepare reports and insights on onboarding efficiency, sales performance, and account health.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in onboarding, customer success, account management, or sales operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to validate documentation and manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and onboarding/CRM tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce or marketplace operations.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or similar.
- Working knowledge of Seller Central, catalog management, and marketplace tools.
- Exposure to revenue metrics such as GMV, conversion rates, and sales performance tracking.
