Aires is a sports performance footwear startup built on a simple insight: most global performance shoes are designed for Western foot anatomy. We are building a brand specifically for the Indian foot—with a wider toe box, flatter arch profile, and materials suited to Indian climate conditions.
We are currently in our pre-launch phase, with a full brand launch planned soon. Our focus is on building a performance-first brand rooted in biomechanics, comfort, and Indian user needs.

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager to join us full-time and lead the foundation and execution of Aires marketing function.
This is a high-ownership role where you will act as the central marketing lead—working with the core team and external agencies to build, manage, and scale the brand.
You won't be expected to execute every task yourself. Instead, your role is to ensure the right strategy, systems, and partners are in place—and that everything runs smoothly and stays aligned with the brand.
What You'll Do1. Market & Consumer Understanding- Analyze the Indian performance footwear market and competitor landscape
- Identify positioning opportunities and whitespace for Aires
- Understand where our audience spends time (online & offline)
2. Brand Strategy & Foundations- Develop and maintain the Aires brand voice, messaging, and guidelines
- Oversee consistency across all brand touchpoints
- Collaborate on website, social media, and early communication messaging
3. Agency & Partner Management- Identify, onboard, and manage agencies across:
- Digital marketing (Meta, Google)
- Creative & content production
- Public relations
- Write clear briefs and ensure high-quality, on-brand output
- Track deliverables, timelines, and performance
4. Campaign & Launch Planning- Own marketing calendars, campaigns, and launch plans
- Align internal and external stakeholders on timelines and deliverables
- Ensure readiness for all major brand and product launches
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting- Oversee setup and usage of tools like GA4, Meta Pixel, and GTM
- Build and maintain reporting systems across channels
- Translate performance data into clear insights and decisions
6. Cross-Functional Coordination- Act as the bridge between founders, agencies, and collaborators
- Run weekly updates and ensure visibility across all workstreams
- Keep projects moving forward without constant oversight
Who You Are- 3–6 years of experience in brand, marketing, or related roles
- Experience in consumer brands, sports, lifestyle, or D2C is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and brand building
- Comfortable managing agencies and multiple stakeholders
- Structured thinker who can turn ambiguity into clear plans
- Detail-oriented, but able to see the bigger picture
- Strong communication and project management skills

Work Setup- Full-time role
- Hybrid: Mix of remote work and in-person collaboration as needed
- Availability during IST business hours
- Occasional in-person meetings for shoots, reviews, or agency sessions
