Position: Brand Manager for a Building material industry at Chennai
Location: Chennai
CTC: Maximum gross up to 15 LPA
Role Overview
The AGM Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen brand positioning, drive market penetration, and support sales growth for the company's TMT products. The role includes digital marketing, branding, channel engagement, and relationship management with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and key influencers in the construction ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Management & Promotion
- Develop and implement branding strategies to enhance market visibility and brand recall.
- Plan and execute BTL, and trade marketing activities.
- Manage advertising campaigns, outdoor branding, dealer branding, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Ensure consistent brand communication across all channels.
- Coordinate with creative agencies, media partners, and vendors.
2. Digital Marketing
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, Google Ads, social media campaigns, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Manage company website, lead generation campaigns, and online reputation management.
- Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and optimize ROI.
- Create engaging digital content including videos, case studies, customer testimonials, and technical product communication.
- Build digital engagement with dealers, builders, contractors, and construction professionals.
3. Architects & Engineers Coordination
- Develop strong relationships with architects, structural engineers, consultants, builders, and project influencers.
- Conduct technical presentations, product awareness sessions, and influencer meets.
- Coordinate with project consultants for product approvals and specifications.
- Gather market intelligence on upcoming projects and competitor activities.
- Support sales teams in project conversion through technical and relationship-based marketing.
4. Market Development
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
- Support dealer/distributor engagement programs and loyalty initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales teams for regional marketing plans and business growth.
5. Campaign & Event Management
- Organize trade fairs, dealer meets, contractor meets, and product launch events.
- Manage CSR and community branding activities where applicable.
- Monitor marketing budgets and campaign effectiveness.
6. Team Coordination & Reporting
- Lead and mentor the marketing team and external agencies.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, campaign reports, and marketing dashboards.
- Coordinate closely with sales, production, and management teams.
Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing from a recognized institute.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in marketing within TMT steel, cement, building materials, construction materials, or related industries.
- Strong exposure to branding, digital marketing, and influencer marketing.
- Experience in handling architects, engineers, and project consultants is essential.
