Job Title: Brand & Marketing Manager (D2C | Pet Brand)

Location: Remote

Working Hours: U.S. business hours overlap required (6pm-3am IST)

Industry: Direct-to-Consumer (Pet Care)

About the Role

We are looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager to help shape, grow, and scale a fast-growing U.S.-based D2C pet brand. This role is ideal for someone who blends brand storytelling with data-driven marketing execution, and who has strong hands-on experience in email marketing and lifecycle campaigns.

You will own brand-led marketing initiatives across digital channels while playing a key role in customer acquisition, engagement, and retentionespecially through email.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Marketing Strategy
  • Own and execute the brand's marketing strategy across digital touchpoints, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and positioning.
  • Translate brand values into compelling campaigns that resonate with U.S. pet parents.
  • Support product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand storytelling initiatives.

Email Marketing & Lifecycle Campaigns (Core Focus)
  • Lead and execute email marketing strategy, including campaign planning, copy direction, segmentation, and optimization.
  • Manage both one-time email campaigns and automated lifecycle flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement, etc.).
  • Continuously test subject lines, content, timing, and segmentation to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver on-brand, high-performing email creatives.

Digital Marketing & Growth Support
  • Collaborate with performance and e-commerce teams to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Align email, paid media, and on-site messaging for cohesive customer journeys.
  • Support retention, loyalty, and subscription initiatives through targeted communication.

Analytics & Insights
  • Track and analyze marketing performance across channels with a focus on email engagement and customer behavior.
  • Use insights to refine messaging, improve customer experience, and strengthen brand affinity.
  • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and trends in the U.S. pet space.

Collaboration & Execution
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, e-commerce, and leadership teams.
  • Manage timelines, campaign calendars, and priorities efficiently.
  • Bring a proactive, ownership-driven approach to execution.

Requirements
  • 36+ years of experience in brand marketing, lifecycle marketing, or D2C marketing.
  • Strong experience working with U.S.-focused consumer brands (pet category preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in email marketing, including campaign execution and automated flows.
  • Solid understanding of brand building, customer engagement, and retention marketing.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and email tools (e.g., Klaviyo or similar).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and creative judgment.
  • Comfortable working remotely with U.S. teams.
