Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Brand Manager (Soaps Category) to drive growth across multiple categories under the Medimix brand. The role will be responsible for end-to-end category ownership, including topline & bottomline delivery, ATL strategy, SKU architecture, and market activations in a highly competitive FMCG environment.
Job Requirements
- Work Experience: 2.5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Category Experience: Mandatory experience in Soaps or highly penetrated FMCG categories such as Soap, Hair Oil, Talc, etc.
- Qualification: MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 Institutes
- Key Skills & Competencies:
- ATL marketing & media planning
- Project management
- Experience handling 15 Cr+ marketing budgets
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Data-driven decision-making
- Sales exposure preferred (not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Nielsen & IMRB is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale multiple categories under the Medimix brand
- Deliver topline and bottomline targets in line with approved ABP numbers
- Strategize and implement ATL plans in collaboration with the media agency
- Analyze HHP, RMS, Nielsen, internal sales, and media data to identify gaps and growth opportunities
- Develop and execute a robust SKU strategy to achieve category objectives
- Manage marketing budgets with a ROI-focused approach
- Conduct regular market visits to assess trends and identify future growth opportunities
- Drive and execute market activations to strengthen brand visibility and category performance
