Brand Manager – Textile Effects (Brands & Value Chain)
Role Purpose
Drive brand-led demand creation (pull) by positioning textile dyes and functional finish solutions as brand-approved, value-driven offerings, ensuring conversion from brand concept to mill execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with global and regional apparel, denim & home textile brands
- Position solutions as brand-approved standards and drive RSL/MRSL inclusion
- Lead brand presentations, innovation days, and workshops
- Develop brand-facing pull campaigns (sustainability, performance, comfort, durability)
- Translate technical solutions into consumer and brand value stories
- Drive demand flow Brand → Mill → Converter
- Ensure lab-to-bulk conversion in close collaboration with sales, technical teams & mills
- Support innovation, ESG, circularity, and preferred partner initiatives
Product & Solution Focus
- Integrated systems: dyes + functional finishes
- Application segments:
- Shirts – easy care, softness, whiteness
- Trousers – durability, anti-pilling, stretch recovery
- Denim – low water, color retention
- Home textiles – softness, hygiene
Key KPIs
- Brand approvals & nominations
- Revenue from brand-led programs
- Concept-to-bulk conversion rate
- Pull campaigns launched
- Value-based premium realization
Candidate Profile
- 10–18 years experience in textile chemicals / dyes / finishes
- or brand/sourcing roles with strong technical exposure
- Experience working with brands and mills
- Strong knowledge of dyeing processes, functional finishes, and sustainability frameworks (ZDHC, Bluesign)
- Ability to convert technical features into commercial and consumer benefits
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
