Brand Design Manager
Mission of the Position
Xurrent, Inc. (Xurrent) is hiring a Brand Visual Designer. The Brand Visual Designer will play a key role in defining and elevating the visual identity of the Xurrent brand. Your mission is to build and maintain a cohesive, modern, and scalable brand system that strengthens Xurrent's presence across product, marketing, and employer branding touchpoints. Reporting to the Head of Marketing - India, you will craft visuals that communicate clarity, trust, and innovation, while laying the creative foundations for future brand growth. This is an on-site role in our Bangalore office.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Xurrent's visual identity across all brand and marketing initiatives.
- Produce high-quality graphics for campaigns, website, social media, performance ads, events, and product-led marketing.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints through guidelines, templates, and processes.
- Collaborate with marketing, PMM, founders, engineers, and product designers to translate strategic goals into compelling visuals.
- Create illustrations, iconography, diagrams, explainers, and layouts that simplify complex SaaS concepts.
- Provide creative direction and hands-on design work for launches, announcements, and GTM campaigns.
- Contribute to storytelling by designing visuals that enhance clarity, differentiation, and impact.
- Run iterative design cyclesgather feedback, refine, and deliver assets at speed.
- Develop and maintain a brand asset library including templates, visual kits, and reusable components.
- Support website updates and ensure brand alignment with front-end engineering teams.
- Stay updated on design, branding, SaaS, and digital communication trends to keep Xurrent's brand fresh, modern, and competitive.
- Prepare the ground for future brand/design team expansion by documenting processes and identifying skill gaps.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in SaaS branding with a strong portfolio of real-world work demonstrating systems-thinking, not just isolated shots.
- Exceptional visual craftcomposition, typography, color, hierarchy, and illustration.
- Ability to translate abstract ideas and technical concepts into clean, intuitive visual narratives.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop; motion design skills are a plus.
- Strong understanding of web formats, responsive layouts, and developer handoff practices.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain design rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with marketing, product, and leadership teams.
- High ownership, self-direction, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage SaaS environment.
- Openness to feedback, comfortable iterating rapidly, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Creative problem solver with a strategic approach to brand building and storytelling.
