About the Role
As a Brand Associate, you will be the engine behind on-ground execution - turning brand strategy into tangible market impact. This is a high-energy, execution-first role that demands ownership, agility, and an eye for detail. You will work closely with Brand Managers and Category heads to drive trade programs, manage activations, coordinate with vendors, and ensure our brand Paper Boat stays visible, vibrant, and well-stocked across markets. Responsibilities
Trade Program Execution
- End-to-End Execution: Lead and execute trade marketing programs, BTL activities, and on-ground activations from planning to post-evaluation.
- Visibility Management: Drive in-store visibility initiatives — ensure planogram compliance, merchandising standards, and point-of-sale material deployment across channels.
Market & Sales Intelligence
- Data Tracking: Build and maintain tracking systems to monitor brand performance across GT and OT markets.
- Excel Proficiency: Create and manage spreadsheets, MIS reports, and dashboards to deliver actionable insights to the brand and sales teams.
- Actionable Insights: Translate data into clear, crisp recommendations for market and sales intelligence.
Vendor & Agency Management
- Vendor Onboarding & Management: Identify, onboard, and manage external vendors and agencies for activations and BTL projects.
- Negotiation: Negotiate on timelines, pricing, and deliverables to ensure cost-efficient and on-time execution.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict oversight on quality standards and budget adherence across all vendor engagements.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the liaison between Sales, Supply Chain, and Category teams to ensure seamless program execution.
- Stock Coordination: Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock movement is synchronized with activation calendars and promotional cycles.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a Brand Executive, OR at least 2 years in Trade Marketing within a traditional FMCG setup.
Required Skills
- Execution Track Record: Demonstrated experience in leading and executing trade programs, BTL activities, and on-ground activations including visibility drives.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel — comfortable with complex spreadsheets, data analysis, and MIS reporting.
- Vendor Management: Prior experience managing vendors and agencies, with demonstrated ability to negotiate and hold partners accountable.
