Looking for 12 weeks Fixed term employment

We are looking for a Brand & UX Designer to lead the creative development for our client in the lifestyle product space. This role combines brand identity design with user experience expertise, ensuring that every touchpointfrom digital interfaces to in-store displaysdelivers a cohesive, premium brand experience.

You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and retail teams to create compelling visual assets and intuitive user experiences that reinforce our client's position as a leader in their product category.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Identity & Visual Design

  • Develop and refine brand identity elements, including logos, typography, and color palettes.
  • Create high-impact graphics for packaging, in-store displays, and marketing collateral.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channelsDTC, retail, and digital platforms.

UX Design & Digital Experience

  • Design intuitive, visually appealing layouts for landing pages, PDPs, and retailer microsites.
  • Collaborate with developers and content teams to optimize user flows and interactions for e-commerce and digital campaigns.
  • Apply UX principles to enhance product storytelling and conversion across digital touchpoints.

Creative Asset Development

  • Produce assets for sell-in materials, in-store collateral, and digital campaigns (e.g., spec cards, brochures, banners, social media graphics).
  • Work on imagery and video direction for lifestyle, product detail, and component photography.
  • Support creation of interactive demos and digital tools for retail environments.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with Brand Marketing Lead and cross-functional teams to align creative output with business objectives.
  • Contribute to creative briefs, concept presentations, and design reviews.
  • Stay updated on design trends, UX best practices, and competitor benchmarks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 56 years in brand design and UX/UI design, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch).
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards.
  • Branding Expertise: Ability to create cohesive visual identities and adapt them across multiple platforms.
  • UX/UI Expertise: Experience designing for e-commerce and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or DTC product launches.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing tools.
  • Understanding of SEO and conversion optimization for digital assets.
