Position: Brand and Communications Specialist
Reporting to: Head – Strategic Marketing and Business Development
Location: Bengaluru
Role Overview
As a Brand and Communications Specialist within ZEISS India's Marketing function, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and monitoring brand, product, and digital marketing campaigns. Your responsibilities will span the entire campaign lifecycle, from understanding objectives to delivering impactful outcomes while continuously improving marketing processes. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including horizontal marketing, product teams, and other stakeholders, to ensure cohesive communication and alignment with ZEISS's strategic goals.
This position is critical for building brand equity, driving effective communication, and maximizing the impact of trade shows and events, ultimately supporting ZEISS's growth and visibility in the ophthalmic market.

Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Messaging & Content Development
•Develop clear, compelling brand messaging and visual content for marketing materials, presentations, digital platforms, and product collateral.
•Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging that enhances product positioning and customer engagement.
2. Integrated Marketing Campaigns
•Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels to raise awareness and promote the product portfolio.
•Analyze campaign performance to optimize strategies for better engagement and reach.
•Support industry conferences, tradeshows, and CME events, including booth design, event materials, and branding. Develop event-specific campaigns to increase booth footfall.
3. External & Internal Communications
•Lead external communications efforts, including press releases, newsletters, product announcements, and media relations, ensuring alignment with ZEISS's brand standards.
•Manage internal communication initiatives to keep sales, product teams, and other stakeholders informed of upcoming events, marketing activities, and product updates.
•Adapt global branding and marketing communications programs for the region in alignment with business and marketing strategies.
•Ensure adherence to corporate branding guidelines and integrate them into regional communication programs.
4. Digital Marketing & Social Media Management
•Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website content updates, social media management, and email campaigns to enhance product visibility and engagement.
•Monitor and maintain social media channels, posting relevant content and engaging with followers to strengthen customer relationships and build brand awareness.
5. Customer Engagement Programs
•Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop customer engagement initiatives such as webinars, virtual workshops, and educational series to drive retention and loyalty.
•Create and promote content for these programs to maximize attendance, engagement, and brand loyalty.
6. Event ROI Analysis & Reporting
•Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade shows and events, including attendance, lead generation, and customer engagement metrics.
•Provide detailed post-event reports to assess ROI, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements for future events.
Qualifications & Requirements
•Experience: 5+ years in marketing communications or digital marketing,
•Digital Expertise: Proficiency in social media marketing (organic and paid campaigns), web/digital content marketing, SEO, SEM, and other digital platforms.
•Education: Master's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
