About the role
We're looking for a designer who owns CubixTech's look and feel across everything customer-facing — pitch decks, one-pagers, brochures, LinkedIn creatives, event collateral, and web visuals. You'll take rough inputs - a few bullet points, an old deck, a quick brief, and turn them into polished, premium, enterprise-grade output that makes our IT managed services and cybersecurity offerings easy to understand and credible to a B2B audience.
Our buyers are technical, senior, and skeptical; your job is to make them trust us before we've said a word. Just as important, you'll bring your own creative ideas to the table — raising the visual bar, not just fulfilling requests.
This is a solo design role today, reporting directly to leadership, with scope to build and lead a small team as the function grows. You won't be one designer among many — you'll meaningfully shape the design voice for the brand. You'll work closely with founders, sales, and marketing on materials that are sometimes urgent and high-stakes. We're not a chaotic, always-on-fire team — but we move with purpose, and we value people who bring their own sense of urgency and follow-through.
What you'll do
- Make complicated things look simple, and simple things look premium — turning dense technical offerings into clear, credible stories for B2B decision-makers
- Design premium, customer-facing collateral — pitch decks, one-pagers, brochures, case studies, and proposals
- Lead brand and social creative: LinkedIn posts, campaigns, event collateral, email banners, and web visuals that carry a mature B2B tone
- Own the visual system — templates, icons, brand assets, and guidelines — keeping everything consistent and on-brand
- Use AI as a force-multiplier, not a crutch — you know exactly when its output looks generic and push it to an enterprise standard. You're the quality gate: nothing goes out looking AI-made or template-made on your watch
- Manage design sourcing and licensing (stock, fonts) so all customer-facing material is clean and rights-cleared
- Bring fresh creative ideas and campaign concepts proactively — raise the bar, don't just fulfill requests
What we're looking for
- Someone who can make complex offerings visually clear
- 3–6 years of experience in design, ideally with exposure to technology branding
- A portfolio that demonstrates premium, credible and clean enterprise-grade work
- Fluency across modern design tools — Figma, Adobe suite, and presentation softwares — with the judgment to pick the right tool for each job. What matters most is the quality of output, whatever tool gets you there
- Strong ability to work from rough or incomplete inputs and self-direct toward polished output — you connect the dots we leave open, rather than waiting for every dot to be filled in
- Able to explain your design choices, not just produce them — you can defend a decision to a founder, and change your mind when the argument is better
- Comfort with speed — able to deliver quality under tight, customer-facing deadlines as well
Bonus points
- Light video and motion design (animated social posts, deck transitions)
- Experience designing sales and marketing collateral for B2B technology companies — IT services, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud/infrastructure, SaaS, or enterprise solutions
How to apply
Send your portfolio (decks especially welcome) along with a short note on a project where you turned rough input into a finished piece you're proud of.
Start Date: Immediate to 30 days Preferred
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
