Job Description

Brand Advocate will be responsible for the education and engagement of consumers, trade, media and internal/external stakeholders. They are required to inspire, educate, and recruit these audiences with unique and impactful experiences. As a secondary focus, the brand advocate supports major brand initiatives, and helps deliver targeted portfolio performance and trade education in priority accounts. The role will involve extensive event hosting and travel within the region of location. It is vital that the Brand Advocate embodies the essence of the brand in both appearance, behaviour and delivery of key brand messages.

Above all, the Brand Advocate must embody the essence of the brand exuding authenticity, poise, and refinement while delivering brand narratives with credibility, passion, and distinction.

Job Responsbilities:

A. Consumer Facing :

▪ Assist in conducting tastings and hosting brand experiences to establish the brand as a market authority.

▪ Support the planning and execution of experiential events such as bar takeovers, paired dinners, masterclasses, expos, and festivals.

▪ Represent the brand at media, consumer, and trade events to enhance brand visibility.

▪ Collaborate with the sales and retail teams by training staff and hosting key consumer events.

▪ Develop and manage a social media following while adhering to the brand's social media guidelines.

B. Trade Facing :

▪ Deliver tailored education sessions to trade accounts, building brand confidence and advocacy among partners.

▪ Work collaboratively with the on-trade team to identify opportunities and recommend necessary changes.

▪ Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including F&B/bar managers, buyers, and bar staff.

▪ Create and demonstrate service rituals of the brand to on-trade accounts. Additional Responsibilities:

▪ Work with the Marketing team to implement a range of marketing activations and communications that align with brand DNA and objectives.

▪ Identify key brand-building initiatives in collaboration with local commercial teams.

▪ Manage and efficiently utilize the annual T&E and activation budget.

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

The successful candidate should have/be:

▪ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

▪ Strong connections with beverage, bar, and influencer communities in key markets.

▪ Proficiency in social media platforms

▪ In-depth knowledge of the category, brand, and portfolio.

▪ Leadership and mentoring/training abilities.

▪ A strong sense of ownership and pride, with the ability to work independently.

▪ Fluency in English and Hindi. Interpersonal skills required:

▪ Inspiring public speaking and presentation abilities.

▪ Strong influencing and negotiating skills.

▪ Exceptional organizational skills.

▪ A natural networker with quality-driven, high standards of customer service and attention to detail.

It would be advantageous if candidates have:

▪ Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador/Advocate.

▪ Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry or hospitality sector.

▪ A passion for spirits and exposure to influential bars and hotels.

▪ Relevant alcohol, bartending, or service industry qualifications.

▪ Fluency in additional languages.

▪ Knowledge of brand messaging and positioning.
