Job Description Branch Sales Manager (Individual Role)

Department: Sales / Business

Location: Branch

Reporting To: Branch Manager / Area Sales Manager

Experience: 26 years in NBFC / Banking / Housing Finance

Education: Graduate (MBA preferred)

Role Objective

The Branch Sales Manager (Individual Role) is responsible for driving sales of Home Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP) at the branch level through self-sourcing and channel development , without managing a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
  • Achieve monthly login and disbursement targets individually.
  • Source business through direct customer interaction and field activities .
  • Handle complete sales lifecycle: lead generation login sanction disbursement .
  • Channel Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with DSAs, connectors, property brokers, and builders .
  • Generate consistent leads through channel partners and referrals .
  • Expand and activate new sourcing channels.
  • Customer Acquisition Relationship Management
  • Identify potential customers and understand their loan requirements.
  • Offer suitable Home Loan / LAP products .
  • Ensure excellent customer experience from onboarding to disbursement.
  • Coordination with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with Credit, Legal, Technical, and Operations teams .
  • Ensure proper documentation and faster turnaround time (TAT).
  • Follow up on cases to ensure timely approvals and disbursements.
  • Portfolio Quality Compliance
  • Ensure sourcing as per company credit policies and guidelines .
  • Maintain portfolio quality and avoid delinquent cases .
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory norms.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Conduct local market mapping and competitor analysis .
  • Identify new business opportunities in the catchment area.
  • MIS Reporting
  • Maintain daily sales tracker and pipeline reports .
  • Update branch on lead status, conversions, and disbursements .
